Creating a Childhood They’ll Remember
One day, our children will look back on these years, and they won’t remember how clean the house was or whether dinner was fancy. They’ll remember how they felt—safe, loved, free to explore, and full of wonder.
We have the opportunity, every single day, to create the kind of childhood our children will carry in their hearts forever. It doesn’t have to be grand or expensive—it’s the simple things: reading bedtime stories, running barefoot in the grass, letting them help in the kitchen even when it’s messy. It’s showing them that home is a place of joy and comfort, a place where laughter fills the walls and love is woven into every moment.
God calls us to steward our children’s hearts well, and part of that is creating a childhood that reflects His love. Let’s be intentional. Let’s say “yes” to more moments of play, more giggles, more adventures. Because these days? They matter.
"Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him." – Psalm 127:3
