Letting Go and Finding Rest
Matthew 11:28 – "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
Does anyone else feel like motherhood should come with mandatory naps? Between chasing toddlers, managing schoolwork, and trying to keep the house somewhat presentable, exhaustion is real. But in Matthew 11:28, Jesus invites us to trade our weariness for His rest.
This isn’t just about physical rest (though, let’s be honest, that would be amazing). It’s about soul-deep rest. It’s about laying down our burdens—the guilt, the stress, the endless expectations—and letting Him carry them.
What’s one thing you can let go of today to make room for His rest? Maybe it’s saying no to an extra activity or choosing grace over perfection. Whatever it is, let’s give ourselves permission to rest in Him. He’s got this, and He’s got you.
