Pause and Know He’s Got This

Psalm 46:10 – "Be still, and know that I am God."

Life as a mom is anything but still. From the moment the kids wake up to the moment they (finally) fall asleep, it’s a whirlwind of activity. And let’s not even get started on the mental load we carry. But Psalm 46:10 reminds us of something so important: in the chaos, we’re invited to be still.

Being still doesn’t come naturally to me. Even when I try to sit down, I’m thinking about all the things I need to do. But when I intentionally pause and focus on God, something amazing happens. I’m reminded that He is in control, not me. He’s holding my family, my to-do list, and even my failures.

Today, let’s carve out just five minutes to sit with Him. No multitasking, no distractions—just stillness. Let’s breathe in His peace and exhale all our worries
