The Ministry of Motherhood

“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9 (ESV)

Motherhood is not glamorous.

It’s early mornings and late nights. It’s scrubbing crayon off the walls, reheating your coffee for the fifth time, and wondering if the laundry pile will ever shrink.

It’s breaking up fights. Answering endless questions. Holding a feverish child while the rest of the world keeps moving.

And some days, it feels like no one sees.

But God sees.

Every meal you make, every tear you wipe, every bedtime prayer whispered over your babies—He sees it all.

Because motherhood isn’t just a role. It’s a ministry.

The world won’t always recognize the work you do. But heaven does. And the tiny disciples you are raising? They do too.

So on the days when you feel weary, when you wonder if what you do matters, hear this: It does.

You are shaping souls. Planting seeds. Pouring out love in a way that echoes into eternity.

And one day, the things that feel unseen will be the very things that mattered the most.

Don’t give up, mama. You are doing holy work.
