The Power of Laughter

Proverbs 17:22 – "A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones."

Laughter is one of the greatest gifts of motherhood. From baby belly laughs to your toddler’s made-up jokes that don’t quite make sense, joy has a way of lifting our spirits. Proverbs 17:22 reminds us that a cheerful heart is good medicine. Isn’t it amazing how a child’s laughter can instantly brighten the hardest days?

Yesterday, my kids and I had a dance party in the living room, and their giggles were contagious. It reminded me that joy doesn’t have to come from big, planned-out moments. Often, it’s found in the spontaneous silliness of everyday life. Motherhood is full of these treasures if we’re willing to stop and enjoy them.

What’s a moment that made you laugh recently? Let’s share the joy and encourage each other to find laughter even in the messy parts of motherhood.
