Don’t Give Up, Mama
Galatians 6:9 – "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."
Let’s be honest—motherhood can feel like an unending to-do list with no finish line in sight. It’s exhausting, beautiful, chaotic, and rewarding all at the same time. Some days, it feels like you’re giving all you’ve got and still coming up short. Have you been there? I know I have.
This verse in Galatians always meets me right in that space of weariness. It reminds me that the work we’re doing as moms—no matter how small or unnoticed—is part of a much bigger picture. Those countless bedtime routines, the prayers whispered over scraped knees, the lessons taught with patience (or let’s be real, attempted patience)—they all matter.
God promises that at the proper time, we’ll reap a harvest if we don’t give up. That might look like a “thank you” from your teenager, a breakthrough in your homeschool routine, or simply the joy of seeing your kids grow into kind and loving people. Whatever the harvest, trust that God sees every seed you’re planting, even the ones you think are too small to matter.
So today, take a deep breath. Remind yourself that you’re not in this alone—God is with you, strengthening you, equipping you, and guiding you. And if you’re feeling extra weary, lean into Him. He’s got you, mama.
