Let Him Carry You

Isaiah 40:11 – "He tends His flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in His arms and carries them close to His heart."

Life as a mom is full of heavy lifting—literally and figuratively. From carrying diaper bags to carrying the emotional weight of your family’s needs, it’s no wonder we feel exhausted. But here’s the good news: you’re not meant to carry it all alone.

Isaiah 40:11 paints such a tender picture of God’s care. Like a shepherd, He sees our weariness and doesn’t just watch from afar. He steps in, gathers us up, and holds us close to His heart. Think about that for a second. The Creator of the universe wants to hold you—yes, you, tired mama—in His arms.

So today, what’s one burden you can hand over to Him? Maybe it’s the stress of homeschooling, the worry about finances, or the guilt of not feeling “enough.” Whatever it is, God is big enough to handle it. He’s not asking you to do it all. He’s asking you to trust Him to lead you and your family, step by step.

If you need a reminder of His faithfulness, take a walk outside. Watch how He cares for the birds and flowers, even in their smallness. How much more does He care for you?
